Christmas Social:
Johnny's Original Eatery, 850 King St. West in Oshawa Saturday Dec. 15th, 2018 from 13:30 to 15:30 Hrs.

Road Cleanup:
Three times in warmer months we clean up garbage on Victoria St W between Brock St and Seaboard Gate in Whitby.
This section of road was adopted by the club as part of the Adopt a Highway program from MTO.

Durham Region Community News

Whitby Harbour Day:
Held at the Whitby Marina, members volunteer to help the Town of Whitby with communications
for this event that is held every year noon till dark and closes with amazing fireworks.
We also have a tent setup, drop by and listen in or try make a local / national / international
contact yourself with the help from one our volunteers.

Canada Day County Town Carnival

ARRL Field Day:
Every year in June ARRL runs its Field Day from Saturday noon till Sunday noon.
Amateur radio operators or clubs install their equipment at locations that would mock up an emergency setup
with little or no dependencies on hydro or other means of communications.
Points are awarded for number of contacts made, frequencies used, number of operators and source of power used.
